If we have a third kit.

I’ve long said this, it’d be nice if the club could do something with Teesside University/Middlesbrough College to have their students design a shirt.

It’d be great experience for them and it’d have a local connection rather than just receiving a standard stock-kit.

I’m not sure any other club does this.

Shirt designs are proposed and agreed between MFC and the kit supplier, months in advance.
Next seasons will have been 'signed off' earlier this year.

I wonder what say the league have in kit designs?
I believe there are rules regarding things like the size of logos, number of logos etc.

I have a terrible memory but I think I read an article about it some time ago and it was quite complicated and subject to significant interpretation. The example I remember is that classic Liverpool shirt made by adidas in 93-95 with the three BIG stripes over the right shoulder. Apparently that wouldn’t be allowed today because the stripes are considered a commercial, proprietary Adidas logo and the size of that would be too big by todays standards. Or something like that.
