This is something I've believed in for a very long time in that the very best players don't make great coaches. The two above, Pep wasn't the greatest midfielder in the world, he just played in a very good Barca team that made him look better. Alex Ferguson, no great shakes as a player either. I think we need to get away from this mentality that if you are a great player, you'll be a great coach. Please go find someone who is knocking it out of the park as a coach, but spent their entire playing days in the lower leagues, it doesn't matter.
