Out of curiosity I searched my email to find when I joined the old site and although I didn't post much I joined 22/7/2010. I am quite shocked that I have been registered here so long!
I still thought of myself as a fairly new member of FMTTM community, but been registered nearly 12yrs!

I’ve been a member for 20. 21, 22 years.
Not 100% sure, but I’m gonna try & pin it down exactly.
Anyone know whether that means I’m potentially the longest serving non-Boro member on here?

Just had a look back, I can’t find my original fmttm join date but found an email for joining the dark side at COB in mid 2007. I rarely read or posted there as I just didn’t get the in-jokes, I just happened to stumble upon that boro board first (after the old BBC ones).
I’m pretty sure I found and preferred fmttm (due to more normal footy stuff) from COB and lurked on the old board for a long time and eventually signed up, probably between 2008 and 2010, but again there were some cliquey posters and threads that weren’t always easy for an ‘outsider’ to follow. I was never a regular poster back then though, I think I post a bit more on this board as it’s easier to navigate and use on a mobile.

I was working in a call centre at uni and the BBC was one of the few websites that wasn’t blocked so I was on there but I can’t remember how often I posted. Username could have been a variation of Smog/Smoggle or Smog on the Tyne as I was in Newcastle back then and used that sometimes, I think someone else had it on fmttm so that name wasn’t me on the old board.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Rob might have been the longest serving member on the old board 
I was never on Tim's board back in the annuls of time, but I seem to remember discovering FTTM in the very late 90s via a university library PC. I've stuck with the same username ever since, as I am highly unimaginative like that!

I can't put a date on it. I just know I started on the Boro mailing list in the mid 90's then the old fmttm then here. (There wasn't anything else in between those, I don't think ?)

i first posted on fmttm back in, i think 98. because i remember posting my preferred starting 11 and festa was in it and i didnt realize he was injured and got pelters of a few of the lads. lol
