I prefer autumn to this

Apart from the hay fever, the constant sweat, the sunburn, the lack of sleep, the wasps, the bug bites, the baking hot car, the 3am sunrise, the yellow lawn, the heat rash, the absence of air con and the complete lack of energy, the headaches… I’m actually a big fan of Summer

I'm more of a fan of winter myself. I can't stand summer. It must be the icy Northern blood in my veins.

I love extremes, not our crap seasons. Currently sat on our airbnb terrace in the centre of Marrakech city. 40C in the shade. No Aircon, just 2 fans. It is wonderful. Then I love -20C as well. We need a really good summer and a really cold winter. Perfect.

today in London we’ve had that really muggy sticky heat, 27c, in between rain showers

I have to say I love it, like being in the tropics

This summer seems a bit ominous given how warm it’s been for early June and how scorched everywhere is.

In the summer I hate the summer and I'm a huge fan of winter and look forward to be able to wrap up warm and have some control over how hot or cold I am, Christmas time and cosy days indoors with the family and nice hot wholesome foods
In the winter I hate winter and I am a huge fan of summer and look forward to the BBQs, the light nights in the garden, days out with the family, Greek and pasta salads and not having to cook as many meals.
Oh and just to add spring is too wet and autumn is too unpredictable and I don't know whether to wear waterproofs or a light jacket or a full on winter coat.

I hate office hay fever whingers they are the pits

I love all the seasons with each season bringing its own individuality.

Spring - Watching the Daffs and crocus sprouting, snowdrops and bluebells in the woods. Birds nesting and the new song of the yearlings.
Summer - Warm weather, the garden looking tip-top and the greenhouse full of tomatoes (plants supplied by guisborough_rob). Long nights and being able to sit in the garden with a long cool drink. Summer holiday.
Autumn - What is not to like about Autumn? The colour of the trees never fails to impress, the Autumn harvest and crisp mornings.
Winter - Winter is best when it snows and you have always got in the back of your mind that spring is just around the corner.

Always this time of year....I hate when it starts getting cold and the dark nights come in. One of the new vets where I work is turkish and has only been here 4 months...even she said at the weekend how everyone seems to be smiling now the sun's out.
The only thing I used to hate was the warm nights...but since I learnt a hot water bottle is not just for cold nights (put them in the freezer for warm nights) that's not a problem now either.
