I might cry tonight..

The emotions are being bottled up, so either way I think I’m gonna cry..

My lads taking his missus in to be induced as well so my first grandchild could be making n appearance in this mortal coil too…

I BELEIVE!!!!!

UTFB…. Come onnnnnnn!!!!!
Hopefully a Chuba or Riley on the way!

I've only ever cried once at a football game, and that was when we scored or 2nd goal at cardif.

I'll have junior smoggy with me as always tonight, and I fear his emotions will get the better of him if we don't win.
If that's the case I don't want to be on the outro of sky's coverage cuddling a sobbing 6 year old kitted out in boro regalia.

My friend has just said the same, he is taking his 10 year old boy and he is convinced it would ruin him if the Boro don't win tonight.

Also, I cried at Elland Road in 1997 and then again at the Steaua game in 2006. Both occasions for completely separate reasons however I know which one I preferred!!

I’ve cried twice at the match, once at Cardiff, although the first time when I was about 10, John Craggs went to kick the ball against the advertising hoardings at the Holgate end and missed; got me plum in the chops 🤕

I’m a big ball of emotions at the best of time and been bottling it up all day teaching and working with a load of Sunderland fans in Peterlee. 🤮

I'm thinking of my dad, an obsessive Boro fan, who passed on 3 years ago at 84. I'm a Londoner but as a lad he took me to all the away games in London in the 1973-85 and at Ayresome Park when we went up there, and so passed on his obsession to me. When I go to games now I feel very close to him and get emotional. I guess it's more than a game. So many memories, so many conversations, I'm sure he'll be tuned in tonight.

UTB!

Bristol City, first game back after Covid, I was a mess. Hopefully I'll be a little more composed tonight
