I didn't actually think we played that bad we just couldn't finish

I know the scoreline tells the tale , but to be fair they had two fluke ricochets that ended up perfectly as shooting chances and an OG off Lenihan. In the second half we created three golden opportunities which should certainly have resulted in a couple of goals. Isiaah blazing wide from inside the six yard box, Silvera scooping it over when it was harder to miss, Crooks getting it caught under his feet.

We are painfully exposing the loss of Chuba and Archer, but I have every faith they'll be replaced with good , if not bettter players, in Carrick we trust.

Agreed… We haven’t played badly for both Millwall and Coventry, it’s fairly evident that, we’re lacking the quality of Ramsay, Giles, Chuba, Archer etc… until we address that we will probably continue to falter where last year we succeeded… fine margins. Hopefully we’ll address it.

Gents, I’m struggling to even understand what you have been watching to determine it hasn’t been bad.

Passing, movement, finishing, defending, cohesion have been terrible. As it stands it is evident we were woefully under prepared for the start of the season, which should not be happening.

To be honest our chances were a lot better than theirs and our chances were well crafted. We aren’t far off. Silvera., Crooks, Rogers and Jones should have all done better today.

We were awful in the first half. We picked it up a bit in the second but let's face it - we are a shadow of the exciting team of last season

No excitement, no cohesion, no spirit, no rally, no kitchen sink, and Don Goodman.

I hate those 12:30 kick offs.

I honestly thought we were poor for most of the match. 15 min spell after HT, should have equalised......after that - meh.

Passed the ball about as you would expect, but not good.

Definitely wouldn't describe that as a "not bad" performance tbh.

Add to your list desire , intensity and pace sadly lacking .

A bad result and an awful performance . How McGree could not get a start in that side I don’t know.
Just over a fortnight to get a striker, a decent number 10 and a full back.

The clowns who commentated didn’t look out of place. One of them praised the shot for their third goal superlatively and the other rightly corrected him by mentioning that it was a centre deflected in off a Boro player.

A good thing to mention about Boro was that at least we didn’t concede a goal playing out from the back.
