It’s an absolute disgrace. Costing us game on end, week in week out. Thought some of our lads performed extremely well and yet we have been done over again by an absolute nob of a ref.

I am pig sick of it now. It’s quite frankly a disgrace, that arrogant **** shouldn’t ref at this level again.

Something not mentioned but it struck me at the time and in my opinion proves the little sh@@ was cheating.
Bolassie wins the ball, play on, Bola shoots, play on, goal scored, go back for non existent foul.
I am convinced that if the shot has missed it would have been play on. Just bent.

The ref was absolutely sh*t but I do think he blew for the 'foul' by Bolasie either just before or just as Bola was striking the ball.
 
Still fuming... No better after a night's sleep. I could 'get it' if the ref said he couldn't see it. He was 4 yards away from Bolasie looking right at it.

I ain't felt like this since the Blackburn game. I still watch that and think 'how was that not given?'.

The reason we ain't going up isn't because of refs. That said they definitely don't help us. We had 2 players sent off both rescinded. So it's not just pens and goals.
 
This is the reason why VAR is a good thing for football. I actually work with a lad who is also a League One and Two referee. He's a great lad. There's no way he goes to games hoping to favour one team or influence the game negatively. However, he also admits it's hard at times and he does make mistakes. VAR is there to ensure that a mistake by a human doesn't directly influence the outcome of a game.

Yesterday that referee had such a bad game that his wrong decisions resulted in Swansea gaining two points and Boro being denied one. That is not right.

Just watched this back on the Quest thread on here and he doesn't blow until after the shot is taken, so apologies for that!
