Hull Away Advice

Unless you are in a hurry and don’t care about fuel prices, I would never go the M62/A1/A168/A19 route, it puts about 40 miles on your journey (return trip). There are still major road works on the M62 at the Ouse Bridge near Howden where the speed limit is reduced to 30 mph, with variable speed cameras.
Wetwang chippy is very good as is the Scrap Box at the Dunnington lay-by on the A1079 and the Wetherby Whaler on the York ring road between the A19 and A59 junctions.
If you’re not in a hurry then come down the East Coast route and stop for a hike to Filey Brigg and then fish and chips in the delightful Withernsea.

For the match tomorrow trallveling late home the york way should be quicker. However the york ring road route is definitely the one to avoid at rush hour been stuck there many times wishing i had took the longer m62 route home.
