Also love the fact that if it had come back off the post, Crooksy had busted a gut and would have been there for the rebound.

It was a great goal. My wife initially thought the ball had hit the side netting and was a bit reluctant to celebrate!

Yep, similar to me, right at the back of the north stand & right of the goal, I slowly stood up as others in front stood up & could just see the ball heading towards goal, my initial thought, its going just wide, then, gerrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnn, goaaaaaaaaalllllllllllll

Looked well offside from where I was sat, but admittedly, my position in the South West corner was a long way away. Not seen any stills to show whether it was or it wasn’t, and the obviously silence on here about it is understandable. We’ve been on the wrong end of decisions far too much, so can rejoice in one that possibly went our way.

Wasn't offside from our side-on view. The pace of Howson was surprising as he wasn't initially the favourite to run on to the ball.

I agree it wasn't offside; my seat is just inside the half in which he scored so I'm pretty much level.

I didn't think it was about pace though: just good timing of the run.

From my position in the North stand I was looking straight at him, so couldn’t determine on or off, so as soon as the ball came over I looked at the linesman, flag firmly down and sprinting to keep up. Brilliant moment.

My initial thought when he burst through was .... 'look at Tav go’ ...... rapidly followed by ....... 'Howson!?!? WTF?'
Great goal, cool finish.

I was level with him when he ran onto the ball. definately onside. I did think that he sliced it and it had gone wide -- phew!!!!
