Watched QPR Vs Boro extended highlights from our promotion season. Leadbitter was phenomenal (apart from missing a penalty!). Clayton was a great foil to him as well.

I think thats due to the contrasting ways we play under AK and NW.

Morsy was dreadful against Cardiff.

Look back at old Boro highlights. Leadbitter really looks a class above what we've had since.

Nah, not for me. Clayton and Leadbitter were awesome for a couple of seasons and our success was built on them. Not really seen much to suggest Morsy and Howson even come close as a pairing. That’s not tI say they won’t in time.

Far too early to pass comment. I am a huge Morsy fan, but I thought he was anonymous against Cardiff and off the pace when involved. Leadboots and Clayts formed a special, almost telepathic understanding, they complemented one another perfectly. I doubt Howson and Morsy will have more than this season together.

Not in the same League as Leadbittter and Clayton in their pomp, no contest, they were a force to be reckoned with, Howson and Morsy are good but not as good by any means .
