Howson & Morsey

Not at their best tonight but in
Howson , Morsy AND Saville AND McNair , we have a decent core , as good as Leadbitter and Clayton , but between the 4 , better options .
We are winning games , or drawing them because we have a solid centre mid protecting the 3 centre halves .
The 3 centre halves have stepped up to the plate , McNair , Fry and Djiksteel are becoming a decent unit .
Long may it continue .
We are going into every game fighting , which is what we expect and want .

Early days yet pal, I do like them but I really rated leadbetter. He was a great player for us. Clayton had his knockers but worked incredibly hard. Morsy looks a really decent footballer with a very steely streak. The thing is with Howson is his versatility

Are you fishing for a back lash? Morsy is a class act, the only worry is he is prone to a regular yellow card and can see him been suspended very soon. Not sure how, but he seems to have made Saville a better player too
 
Morsy is superior to Clayton to no doubt in my mind about that. Takes more risks

I don’t think Morsy and howson would have gave the protection Clayton and leadbitter gave so it’s hard to compare them as who’s doing what are they are in different teams
 
I don't know where Howson finds the stamina to go on those runs in the 80+ minutes. He's done it the last few games now, picks the ball up in the centre and drives forward or out wide, taking on a couple players. Grant never had that in his locker, that I can remember.
