My point entirely.
Irony.
Before the game, the "pundits" [retired old has-beens and reporters] were saying what a poor time the Toon were having and what next for Howe.

One game doesn’t change things.
I fully expect Howe to take over Southgate at England and secretly Newcastle will be pleased he goes. He’s done OK job but he’s far too loyal to some players and it will be his downfall. People will find it a stupid comment but the behaviour of the Newcastle staff and players after the Sunderland victory showed everything you need to know about Howe and his mentality. If Newcastle want to push forward they need a better manager. I would not be shocked to see Mourinho join them.

Their Saudi Shields don't seem to have got the hang of English football management.
Howe did well at Bournemouth, but so did Gary O`Neil! Says it all, really.
