How to maximise the atmosphere on Wednesday

I loved the Aitor Karanka one - Brentford away was my favourite rendition for ages.

Not for Wednesday but start it again for next season for sure.

Too cheesy in my opinion. Would prefer for John Foster to play this just before the teams come out. We can just change "Fulham" to "Huddersfield" and "Karanka" to "Carrick".

Put a lyric sheet on every seat (including in the away end) and ask everyone to join in on the chorus.

"We're Middlesborough, football club".

 
We need some lyrical genius to come up with something with a 90s feel of either:

- tubthumping
- gangstas paradise
- hotsteppa

Any of those three woulda be rocking
 
The best atmospheres that I've experienced have been where the whole ground has known the songs and sang in unison. Proper traditional football chants and a wall of noise.

We don't need the Eastern European songs that last 10 minutes, where only 30 people know the words to.

We don't need 20 minutes of prematch music turned up to deafening levels. Just let the fans create the atmosphere.

Funnily enough I was telling my daughter about this game just the other day.

The ripple that turned into a roar when we heard that Leeds had scored at Bournemouth triggered our second half performance.

Bairdy’s 2nd goal is still one of the best ever at Ayresome for me. What a day!

Unbelievable day, so much riding on the game, boiling hot weather and a brilliant result. Baird's second goal (our 3rd) is still one my favourite Boro goals, him celebrating with his his fist pumping and biceps bulging is an iconic Ayresome park moment for me!
