How should we approach the last 3 games?

Chuba needs to get to 30 as soon as he can he doesn’t want to be hanging on 29 going into the playoffs like a cricketer playing tentatively on 99 looking for a century

Confidence and momentum are the key words in football. We've had a bit of a wobble recently and we don't want another one. In some ways it's not a bad thing we have a few injuries right now because it gives game time to others and helps with their confidence. but we definitely need to keep getting results and playing fluently.

We must continue exactly as we have done thus far under Carrick - it would be a mistake to change anything or to take our foot off the pedals. Keep the momentum going right til the end Only rest players if they are not 100%. Keep the rediscovered momentum going right through April into May. And so into the play offs.
I thought we made a mistake in 2015 when we went for the win in the last minute and ending up losing at Fulham. If we took a 3-3 draw (felt like a win with 10 men) and gone for a win against Brighton we could have finished top 2, because Watford only drew at home to Sheff Wed on the last day of the season. We changed for the last 2 games and it did not help us.

We finished 4 points behind Watford.
A draw against Fulham and a win against Brighton is only another 3 points. We needed to win both games as it turned out.

I remember when Carrick, in January, was asked about the number of games per week and he said it was not that many for our squad. The next three games are all on Mondays with a week between. Plenty of time to recover. Just go for it. There is just as much of a chance of getting an injury in training.

Can see Luton trying to nobble Akpom tomorrow night. They’ll be thinking they’re going to play us in play off final.

I don’t really want us to give anything away to them tomorrow night, like when we battered Leicester at Filbert Street in 96 and Juninho was sublime. The Coca Cola cup final not long after they man marked him out of the game and stopped us playing. We didn’t have a plan B then and we don’t have one now.

I too would go with momentum, winning is a good habit. Plus, it’ll unnerve the other teams if we’re the in form side.

I'm pretty sure the likes of Barlaser, Dijksteel, Jones, Crooks, Bola will all get plenty of minutes, maybe Muniz too. We could need them. Carrick will want to keep momentnum though and can't see him making wholesale changes.
