How much do we get for latte lath in the summer

We don't sell unless the offer is absolutely stupid, like 20m upfront (which we won't be offered.)

He's going through a purple patch at the moment, but to play in the PL he's going to need to convince clubs he can sustain this goal scoring threat over a whole season.

Which he will, with us as he fires us to promotion 😉

I hope it would be £20M+, pace and graft is essential in the prem and he has bucketloads of both plus an eye for goal, I would expect all teams getting promoted to be interested plus the likes of Palace and Brentford when they cash in on Toney

How many goals has Chuba scored this season in that dutch league where Alves scored for fun 🤔

To be fair hasnt he been on the bench most the season

10 in 22 according to wiki

Need to keep him but if an offer comes in of £15m I think the club will accept.

We have to accept that the club isn't going to turn down big money offers for any of our players whilst we're in the Championship.

Can see a lot of clubs sniffing around him, only to be expected.

Biggest worry is we get stupid £20m+ bids for him AND Hackney. Great for the financial stability of the club, not so good for a promotion challenge.

Latte Lath has no ties, loyalties with Boro, so if a bigger club came in for him, offered him 2-3 times what he's on now........

We won’t accept £15million, it’s not like the Rodgers deal where we’d only shelled out 1.5 we’ve paid 5.5 for him or like Akpom where he only had 1 year left on his deal, hes 25 and coming into his prime and also on a long contract. No way is the club going to entertain anything less than 20million.

Wait until you hear about Morgan Rogers… 😜

We realistically stopped competing for promotion 3 weeks ago, so it worked wonders for our season 👍

We finally hit a bit of form with a striker playing well at the end of the season, and people are basically willing the club to sell him for a pittance.

It's one of the most irritating things for me with our fans.
A player does well and people can't wait to say things like "Enjoy it whilst it lasts, he won't be here long".

I think he’s performed well for a longer period but that was a surprise to me admittedly. I don’t think anyone saw it coming.

But I’d expect that to be the exception rather than the rule.

If it becomes a more regular occurrence then football is more fooked than even I thought because if Prem clubs can risk big money buys on such a small run of form what chance do clubs like ours have of developing a team over a period of a season or two that can challenge for top spots.

Let’s hope it’s not going that way. It’s already a closed shop.

His form is terrific. Yet it's an double edged sword. The more he scores and impresses the more interest will come from other clubs.

I'm very confident that some have had him watched over the last few weeks. They couldn't fail to be impressed.

I have a feeling we may struggle to hang on to him this summer. Frankly we are in no position to turn down decent money for any player. That includes Hackney. We are a championship club. All championship clubs sell players. It's unfortunate but a fact.

So if a prem club or one of the newly promoted to the prem teams offered 15-20mil it would be very difficult to turn down. Almost impossible. Also you can't deny him the opportunity to double his wages and play in the top flight. The classic 'his head would be turned'.

You have to say last summer's recruitment is lookin superb. Latte Lath / Rav are going to be worth a few quid to anyone who wants them. That's on top of selling Rogers.

Jesus wept. People just accepting the notion that we should sell for £15m need to realise that the answer to our financial worries is promotion. You do that by getting more than a season out of your best players, especially ones who know where the frigging net is.
Exactly this.

There should be hell on if we cash in on our better players this season. I hope people make their feelings felt en-mass if we go down that route. The Rogers deal p!ssed me off. Chuba I could understand as he was in his last year of his contract. McGree is the same, but anyone else, fcuk that! Keep them!

We're a club that should not accept being used as stepping stone and instead try and build something here that'll get us up. I'm confident if Carrick signs a new contract it'll because he's been assured by Gibbo et al he'll be given time to build us that team.
