How many people do you know that have had Covid-19?

At least 6 family members that I can think of - almost all of them have been over the last couple of weeks.

Several friends, including one who died.

Probably about 30-50 now, of the ones that have told me anyway, I expect that another third would be keeping it quiet.
About 1/3 of those confirmed ones are from NHS workers who likely caught it at work then passed onto every member of their household.
About 1/3 from mates in WhatsApp groups etc, most have been obeying the rules, very strictly, and have been working from home, but have young children which have been to nursery or school
Last 1/3 are people form work (very, very small company) and their immediate families, who have been breaking rules, think it's a hoax etc

Top 1/3 would be reduced if there was less cases, but come as a result of the below
Middle 1/3 would be reduced if the kids were not at school, and if people we not acting as per the below
Bottom 1/3 would be reduced if people weren't being dcikheads
All would be reduced if the government followed the science, not pretended to be following the science
All would be reduced if the government acted in a preventative manner, not reactive (slow reactive) manner

Another of my daughters has tested positive now, she is 22 and quite poorly. I personally know 4 people who have had it 2 very badly but luckily no mortalities.

Add another 6 to that, in two days, three mates, and three family members. Some are NHS workers, some teachers and their families, and they're all following the rules as far as I know.

I bet the surge in cases from those following the rules is absolutely astronomical, if it's as bad as I've seen through those following the rules really well. But I suppose the problem is those following the rules have next to no chance if there's super-spreaders willingly being ar$eholes.

I've heard of a few people denying symptoms, pretending they've not had contact and heard of a fair few that basically have it but won't get a test, as "they know when they're healthy enough", absolute idiots. Also heard some in the construction/ labour/ self employed industries who won't get a test or isolate out of fear of not wanting to upset their employers and taking time off......

I don't know one person who has officially been confirmed via test that they've had it.

A few probably have had going by symptoms.

Nobody I know has had it. That includes my homeopathic, nature is wonderful, maskless, out all the time 'Karen' like cousin in law who follows David Icke.

I don't know that many ppl very well anymore TBH but of those I do know 6 have had it, one was on a ventilator for 5 weeks in an induced coma and in hospital 11 weeks altogether, 2 others main symptom was total lethargy/no energy for about 3 weeks, the others only had minor/no symptoms

make that 7
