How do I place a bet with the bookies on something off the radar

OK so I have a feeling that the world record for a giant marrow will be broken this year, but I don't think giant vegetables are listed anywhere as a bet.

So is it possible to make a bet somewhere? How do I go about it? I've looked at some betting sites and their FAQs and not coming up with much.

Give them a call and say what you want to bet on.

With Bet365 you can request a bet by sending them a message online. I backed Aden Flint to be our top scorer when we bought him under Pulis who’s teams were famous for scoring from set pieces. He scored loads for Bristol previously. He scored 1 goal for us that season!

The last bookie I would use is Skybet....they didn't even pay out on their 'special' on KDB to hit the target against Real Madrid.

His corner was tipped over the bar by the keeper (without touching any player before hand) and Sky state they don't count that as a shot on target, even though the keeper stopped it going in....

Horrible bookmakers.

Saw WilmlsowRed on Twitter having a moan about this, but not surprising - you'll never see a poor bookies and that is why.

this happens all the time. They go with whatever the official stats generators say

His issue was that all the stats generators (Optastats is it ?) were counting it as a shot on target, but Skybet claimed that they had access to other stats that said it wasn't, and therefore wouldn't pay out.

I was given a tip and went to my local William Hill. It was a long shot and I cannot elucidate on the detail, but they checked with head office and would only take a maximum of £50.
