The crazy thing is, Houchen can't do anything on Linthorpe Road without the say so of the Mayor of Middlesbrough, so if Chris wanted to be as petty as Houchen then he could stop Houchen's promise to get rid of the bike lane, just like Houchen threatened to sue Middlesbrough if it removed it purely because it was a promise that Chris made.

Of course Chris would never be as childish and petty as Houchen.
