He will have to be rergistered for us won't he as he wasn't in original 25 man squad Not entirely sure how named 25 players works but as Monday was a bank holiday no doubt the FA was shut so couldn't register him.

In saying all of that, I'm not sure we are going to keep him as Carrick didn't really sound as if he was waiting anxiously for him to return.

We couldn't register him until yesterday at the earliest, and that was never going to be possible with it being a bank holiday. His loan didn't officially expire until new years eve.
