Hobbies ?

Hiking+ camping (though rarely get to now ), Fly Fishing, Skiing (badly), Apres (Fantastically), I like sketching landscapes from my head when I can be bothered, day dreaming.

Fishing (sea and course), gym, collecting fossils and dogging

305 lb is my biggest fish and I have a T. rex tooth from the US and a Mammoth Tusk from Siberia.

Went fly fishing ONCE, was a private pond lake thing a £10 a day , no idea what I was doing and I swear I heard this school of trout looking and laughing at me .
and camping, like real camping putting up a tent or going for a walk then b@b camping ?

We took a non-outdoorsy mate fly fishing once, it was horrific. He did actually hook a trout, but had no concept of hold rod up and keep line tight. needless to say, the fish went where it wanted, the line spent half the time slack and eventually the fish came off.

I must admit, I prefer to walk on my own, but as one of my DofE kids said 'do you think that is wise sir at your age.'

I once thought about getting a proper drone, I bought my son a cheaper one for Xmas, had a go and realised it’s not much fun after 10 minutes.

I was going to say does playing video games count? I’m a Nintendo fan myself, rather than the standard call of duty etc. Loving my PS4 at the moment though.

Trying to get into digital art, but guitar and music are my other main hobbies/passions.

Railways. Always been interested since I can remember. Now I’m nearly 70 it’s a god-send keeping me sane and occupied all the time. I need it to keep my mind alert and have recently joined a group of cronies in Scotland and the banter is brilliant. Emails flying around covering not just trains but rock & roll from our youth. I can’t imagine not having a hobby, to alleviate the ups and downs of following the Boro
