I think coburn will be on the bench at best, he didn't look fully fit last night, still put in a hell of a shift though.

You could be right, but I think MC will shake it up a little. As said Coburn needs rest, I wouldn't play him against Millwall or Rotherham. The club keep quiet now when bringing players in so I wouldn't be surprised if a striker joined us in the next few days
There's going to be a bit of rotation over the next couple of games to freshen the lads up for the return leg I would think.
I think Barlaser/Hackney/Howson (and potentially even O'Brien) will share the minutes in the midfield to try aid a bit of recovery.
Crooks will have his time managed as well.
Striker position is an issue. We've seen what happens when we don't start a striker up there but only having a semi fit Coburn available gives us an issue.
I think Ayling will come straight in at RB and Engel will stay at LB. Who knows at CB.
I think the 3 behind the striker are likely to be Rogers, Azaz and Jones.

I think even if he does stick with the back 3, he wouldn't play Howson, Barlaser and Hackney in the same way. I think Hackney is slightly wasted in that position. Obviously there was a lack of availability for the 2 behind the striker last night so it was a necessity to push one of them forward and Hackney was the player that made most sense.
I think with more players available, he would make a choice on his best 2 CMs and then play players more suited to the the more forward roles. We have plenty to choose from: Crooks, Rogers, McGree, Azaz, Greenwood and Silvera.

Crooks could hardly walk at the end of the match and he was knackered practically the whole of the second half.
Coburn was feeling his groin when he went down .
So I don't think either of them will start on Saturday.
It will depend on how many of the other walking wounded make it through the next few days

I would give Hackney a rest 3 matches in a week is too much given hes just coming back from injury

No idea what the team will be but it's so nice to see Howson, Barlaser, Hackney and O'Brien available. The midfield pair get through so much work it was horrible seeing them flagging but nothing on the bench to replace them.
I think O'Brien will be one of our most important players in the 2nd half of the season.

He's not fit yet according to Carrick, and won't be ready for Saturday, he was just included to be part of the group.
