Heckingbottom to be replaced by Wilder!

Very odd decision, if it happens, he's done next to nothing since they binned him for not being good enough for the prem last time round
 
You would think it will really split the fan base, which isn't what you want in the middle of a vicious relegation battle.
 
Wow. Poor Cameron Archer will be rotating in no time 😂 I've watched them play some decent games against some big sides so I'm surprised they're doing this. They were beaten by a good strike on Saturday.
Are they just gonna bounce between wilder and heckingbottom from now on 😂?
 
Harsh on heckingbottom if true. Did an excellent job to take them up even if he did like the odd moan. On a hiding to nothing this season, selling two key players and replacing them with pretty much punts. I doubt there are many managers who could do a better job with hardly any boardroom backing. Gone all quiet on the sale too. The owner must be banking the premiership millions before getting out when they are relegated and the parachute payments end!

He was onto a good thing here for a while but he was quite an arrogant and dislikeable man. He also didn't seem to have a clue about how to utilise the strengths of the squad once teams figured us out a bit and was trying to make players do things they clearly weren't comfortable with. It was quite telling Gibson pulled the trigger relatively quickly when things started to go pear shaped.
