I don't disagree so what do you propose as a solution?Bollox
The bloke is learning nothing from these rinse and repeat performances. Change the fooking formation and tactics to suit the 11 players you’ve got on the pitch. A team which is less than the sum of its parts comes down to the manager.
Given our defensive frailties I’d have started with the same formation from the week before and ideally have played lath in place of silvera up front if he was fit enough, if not then I guess he would have deserved to keep his place given his calmness in front of goa with his finish against Leicester. I’d have presumed we wouldn’t have been 2 down at half time playing this way and maybe changed it when lath was able to come on.What about formation and tactics, given the squad we had available yesterday, what team /setup would you liked to of seen, I am intrigued how different each of our opinions on this are, if at all?
I too wouldn't of changed a winning formation!Given our defensive frailties I’d have started with the same formation from the week before and ideally have played lath in place of silvera up front if he was fit enough, if not then I guess he would have deserved to keep his place given his calmness in front of goal. You can’t really argue with this it simply does doesn’t work with this squad. The Chelsea away game spelled it out in huge letters and big f numbers.
We are the architects of our own demise trying to play to a system that we do not have the players for.
And the whole of the division saw that. Let boro d!ck about at the back when we need a breather- they will think they are in control. Push onto them when we need a goal.
I believe we never have had a 0-0 under CarrickI always think back to the interview Carrick gave following his first home game. We drew 0-0 and he spoke very highly of the performance, saying we will win games if we continue to play this way and believe in the philosophy.
He was right, we did start winning games and continued to play excellent football along the way.
Difference then was we had the players to enable us to play that way. We don't now but I think Carrick is still thinking if we continue to believe in the philosophy it will come good again, even if it doesn't happen until next season.
Concern is, we might not even be a Championship club next season.
Might have been 1-1.I believe we never have had a 0-0 under Carrick
Surely that isn’t about yesterday, second half they certainly didn’t give everythingNot if he truly believes thisView attachment 72905
