Harry Kane

Kane owes Spurs nothing after consistently being outstanding for them. Kane wouldn't have even looked to leave if Spurs had continued improving as at one point they looked brilliant. The Champions League Final defeat was a watershed moment and they've dropped off significantly since.

Imagine Kane in that Man City team too! He'll probably score 25 plus league goals for the next 4 years minimum.

Obviously Harry Kane is a great player, but for £160m I actually think it’s not a bad piece of business for Spurs.

They could probably go and buy something like Abraham, Zaha, Traore and Bamford with that money.

Other players are available obviously.

In theory, but when clubs know you have huge amounts of cash in your back pocket, transfer fees tend to increase so getting value for money becomes an issue.

However, I don't disagree with your point as he's at his peak value now so if you're going to cash in now is the time. As others have said though Spurs have previous for frittering away the Bale cash, so if they sell they need to take the time to invest cleverly.

Yeah agreed, they will be quoted 10-20% above market value for any player they enquire about. Obviously Levy will have to do as well as he can to ensure they only play 5% over market value etc.

Obviously there is a risk with any transfer.

Kane could suffer a double leg break / torn cruciate ligament / ruptured Achilles etc on his Man City debut.
