I watched this programme off the back of this thread - I thought the first two series were great but couldnt get behind the third - the storyline wasn’t the best. Thought the nortons acting in the final scene was more cringe than anything else.

Binge-watched the entire 3 series with Mrs V. She loves this kind of thing, but it's not usually so much my cup of tea. The first two were really great but we both thought that, though it was still quite gripping, the whole premise of series 3 and especially his rather ridiculous escape from court was increasingly soap-opera-like. That comedy impressionist's clip was spot on.

I actually agree with this. Series 3 was more a 7/10 series. End was very rushed and the writing not as strong

Felt like people are invested so have let the first 2 series carry weight on the third to me
