Was hoping to watch the next episode tonight and only realised I can’t, like someone said “old fashioned way , once a week “ Great show and love the intense music and tommy is a baddie that seriously scares the crap out of me!!!!

Loved it. That big,long scene was so well acted by those 2.Well that's that then. No spoilers from me but what a series that has been. Absolutely class

Very good show and i like how it ended, thought the acting was excellent during the main scene, but...
They just sort of rushed in the ending about the teacher and the chemist, the death too was just done via text... think they could've given the show another 20mins and tied these up nicely

Incredible writing. Harrowing acting. Just slightly weird for me personally given how well I know just about every single location.
It was weird when TLR rode his bike up onto Warley Moor and stopped to take in the view. I run on that moor frequently and, on a nice day, I'll always stop exactly where he did to look out towards Stoodley Pike.

Yeah i didn't want to mention that, didnt want to add anything about the show but She had it on for years through all the crap, then at the end when it seems she's moving on, no scarf... Why didn't she just take it off ages ago?

Only just watched the whole thing. Full 3 series. Binged it inside 2 weeks. I thought it was excellent.

Agree it could've lasted maybe another 20 minutes to tie up the loose ends, but that is being super critical IMO.

Here in Happy Valley, we are used to tourists arriving to look for film locations associated with Last Tango in Halifax and, in particular, Gentleman Jack. Now, Happy Valley location tour holidays have been arranged by some enterprising folk and, amusingly, they were fully booked alomost immediately. Given the rather grim subject matter, it's something of a surprise. But, the landscape of the upper Calder Valley is pretty sensational, so I'm sure these tourists will enjoy their stay.
