Freedom Day, for the first time in the pandemic we’re the country in the world with the highest daily recorded cases…world leaders in something at last.

I wonder if we can shoe horn it into an Olympic event just before the games start?

For me so called “freedom day” is completely the opposite. It’s counter productive. Before today I would happily shop, go to a rstaurant and cinema very happy to take the precautions but importantly spend money Now we hav given carte blanche for irresponsible people to charge round without masks has just had the opposite effect on me. I’m going to lay low for a while.

I feel like that too. After seeing the buses round here it’s clear I now can’t go on public transport. I can’t shop at my local Sainsbury’s either. It’s a complete regression
