Hannibal Mejbri

Likes a crunching tackle, so he might attract a few yellow cards. He has a bit of an attitude, but that’s not always a bad thing if it’s managed properly, which I’m sure CW will see that it is. Bring it on.

7 goals and 19 assists in 59 games for Man U at various levels, I'll take that all day long, very well thought of there.
Hopefully he can do something similar for us

Edit not sure how kosher those stats are now🤔

This player has definitely got an attitude problem according to the Tunisian I work with here. He doesn’t rate him.

I’m not sure if a 19 year Manchester United project is the right fit for what we need at the moment - he only has a few minutes of actual first team action under his belt. Coming into the hurly burly of the championship is a big difference to playing for the under 23 side

But we are talking top Premiershit talent, not a random Brighton player (😉). He's really highly rated - ManU won't sell him - has a fantastic engine on him and really gets stuck in. Only concern I would have, and this goes for a lot of kids at the top clubs, is that he brings a big time Charlie attitude with him.
I think he would be a cracking signing.

I think he could be another Crooks (on form) signing for us. He never stops running but also has an arrogance and unerring belief in his ability… In the Championship he could really frighten opposition midfields because he is intelligent and relentless.

Does the Tunisian you work with know him?
He follows all the Tunisian football news and he says Mejbri is known to have fallen out with coaches and team mates. I have no idea of course but he knows his stuff and is going to support the team in Qatar.

Presumably in Tunisia all sorts of stuff goes on in the international set up. I’d take any of those comments with a huge punch of salt frankly. That said know nothing about this guy to comment except Nicky Butt once called him the Tunisian David Beckham.

Agree. Just passing on a comment he made when I said we were interested. He flew all the way to London from NZ to follow Ons Jabeur. Sports nutcase.

Alan Fettis will know all about him and will of worked with him at Man U. I'm sure the managent and coaching team have had discussions regarding any attitude issues and if he can make the step up with Alan Fettis being involved and asked his opinion in these discussions.

Needs a feed and a haircut. Came off the bench for Man U yesterday, so still involved but Tav played for us against Marseille when behind the scenes he had been holding talks with Bournemouth so can't read much into that.

Sure I read that over the course of the weekend United played two friendlies so potentially just using the whole of their squad and a few kids.
