It’s over as I know it.

Just had a celebratory spot of lunch and a glass of wine with my partner returned home and…… don’t have to check my e mails.

Night out with some of the good folk from work tonight in Lincoln.

As ‘The The’ sang

This is the day when things fall into place

Well done that man. I'll be a week into it as of tomorrow and I have not the slightest regret.
Sleeping better
More time for us
Just feels like there is no pressure/stress to get something done to someone else's (mostly fabricated) timescales
No emails, no Teams chiming away all the time

...and relax...

When I read the thread title, I thought you were literally hanging up your playing boots and thought it was a good stint. I packed in playing in my late 40s.
Anyhow enjoy your retirement!

The beauty of it there are no plans other than some good hols

I’ve planned the asre out of my life for over 40 years - now :rolleyes: gonna see how it plays out …
