Hamza Choudhury - a yellow card collector

another of the recent players we're 'being linked with' not for me he's Robbie Savage with an ability for collecting yellow cards, every challenge seems to be late, mistimed or reckless... very limited ability & not for me, even at Championship level.

really talented, but needs to get away from Leicester. Yes he collects yellows, but he's a very good passer, aggressive and fit. Would be a good player to stop us being too nice. Needs to be playing regularly though to get the experience he's missed on the bench.

He'd be a great alternative to Howson in that CDM role.

As for being a Robbie Savage....a young Robbie Savage would improve this team.

Agree. He’s actually perfect for our current team. Could be a great deep lying midfielder for us and start plenty of attacks with passing in between the lines

I like it, a bully in our midfield is something we need badly, as been said above we're to nice at times.
We need some real twa*s to intimidate the opposition.
Lad fits the bill, he's PL standard for sure, just hasn't worked out for him at his club, maybe a season here would do him the world of good

Not Rodgers type of player.
He`s been at Leicester since he was a young lad.
Prone to be a bit of a maverick, but our Chris will soon knock that out of his game.

He can take Crooksy on - in the who can get the most yellow and red cards competition 2022-23 !

Fact check on the thread title. Hes averaging 1 yellow card per season for past 2 seasons.

Op needn't worry though. He's off to West Brom.

Brighton fans deemed Connolly not good enough, we got excited about his potential, then wished we had paid attention to the fans views. Lessons learnt?

Paying attention to Brighton fans was irrelevant, he was coming regardless so generally better to hope for the best than judge him before he’s kicked a ball

Robbie Savage played Premier League football for 11 consecutive seasons, and whilst irritating the life out of opposition fans, was a combative midfielder who wore his heart on his sleeve and always gave 100%. In our current crop of talent, if Choudhury embodies half of that, I'd happily take the lad!

that is a really silly bit of logic. You have to look at every player uniquely, not just claim because some fans of a club don't like a player, he will always be crap

Choudry is a well thought of player at the Foxes.
Always someone who thinks they are crap - just look at us sometimes

Rodgers didnt want him two seasons ago and he wanted to move.
If he comes here he will be on a pay cut.
Wilder will get a tune out of him.

Do you have contacts at the Foxes that allow you to make this assertion with confidence? Whenever I've seen him he looks like someone who runs around fouling people or giving the ball away. I searched for his name on a fans forum and didn't find one positive comment. I hope we give him a swerve. Like Connolly, he was clearly playing above his level and a correction was only a matter of time
