This has to be one if not the greatest live rock vocal from the bbc late show
One of my favourite female singers. Definitely.
Nat King Cole had an awesome voice, always on in our house growing up, my mam loved his music, voice & every Sunday while making the dinner, NKC, Mat Munroe, Eddie FischerHim
An honourable mention to Eva Cassidy too mind
Matt Munro- ex London bus driver- and Paul Rodgers for men. Dusty Springfield and Ella Fitzgerald for women
Jeff Buckley is the greatest ever vocalist for me, but these things are obviously a very personal thing.Love Buckley, Grace is still up there in my favourite albums.
His Live in Chicago DVD is a fantastic live vocal performance. You wonder just what he would have achieved if he hadn't tragically died so young.
I preferred Tim Buckley's voice. Less forceful.Jeff Buckley is the greatest ever vocalist for me, but these things are obviously a very personal thing.
My favourite current vocalist is Laura Marling, for similar reasons I suppose - both have an incredible range and the ability to push my buttons.
