Greatest vocalists of all time

This has to be one if not the greatest live rock vocal from the bbc late show

Love Buckley, Grace is still up there in my favourite albums.

His Live in Chicago DVD is a fantastic live vocal performance. You wonder just what he would have achieved if he hadn't tragically died so young.

Frank Sinatra seriously rated Matt Monro.

Karen Carpenter is head and shoulders above anyone, female vocal wise, for me.

I'll go with my Dad's fave, male voice wise. The fantastic Jim Reeves.

Jeff Buckley is the greatest ever vocalist for me, but these things are obviously a very personal thing.
My favourite current vocalist is Laura Marling, for similar reasons I suppose - both have an incredible range and the ability to push my buttons.

👍 Marling is great too.

Although she probably doesn't belong in the company on this thread I also love listening to Hannah Reid sing with London Grammar for similar reasons.

New music on the horizon from them too which is long overdue.

Nat King Cole had an awesome voice, always on in our house growing up, my mam loved his music, voice & every Sunday while making the dinner, NKC, Mat Munroe, Eddie Fischer
Same here. Every Sunday it was NKC, Sinatra, Dion, The Beach Boys.
