Great result for Mowbray today

I didn’t see this, what happened ?
Hume was taken off, substitued. He walked towards Beale with his hand out stretched gesturing to shake hands/ high 5 and Beale completely blanked him, ignored him. Wouldn't acknowledge him. He's getting pelters for it off the sunderland fans.

Pete Beale would have got a warmer welcome into a job , and kathie for that matter .
Theyl probably get their wish by the summer , heckinbottom would probably suit them

I’m not surprised, he sounds like an absolute bell end

Just had a flick through that - what's with the "comedy" language ..... marra, hoy, anarl, Ad - are they some sort of sub-human species incapable of writing in English ? (well obviously the answer to that is yes, but you know ....)
Definitely something in the water up there - it’s like entering another world, and not a good one 😵‍💫

Lovely post-match interview too if anyone hasn’t seen it. I could listen to TM talk all day, and happy that I can listen to him again now that he’s not managing up the road.

It's funny as there was a post on their forum a couple of weeks back asking if Beale had improved them. Most of them were in agreement that he had. Fast forward a week or two and a couple of defeats and now they all want him out again. They are the most fickle group of supporters in the country for me. Walking out at half time. How dare anyone beat Sunderland as they're such a big club!

I read a comment on their forum the other day in a thread regarding how expensive our season cards are. The fella basically said we're a small club and they are a top 10 premier league club in the making. What planet are these people on? In my lifetime supporting Boro, Sunderland have been better than us for about 2-3 seasons. They have had nowhere near the calibre of players that we've had. Achieved nothing like what we have in the last 30 years. Despite all this they still think they have some right to be a top 10 PL club. Very bizarre.

Oh and by the way. BEALE IN !

Someone chucked a packet of revels at him some picked them up .
I get the feeling he’s got another promotion in him . It doesn’t feel like he’s getting tired as a manager at all and just aging like a fine wine 🍷 👍

It is totally bizarre. I get that the club has been successful, but that was a hundred years ago and not one fan alive can remember them as the Bank of England club.

I’m 44 and in my entire lifetime Sunderland have been mainly average. The Peter Reid team in the late 90’s was good, but otherwise they’ve been nothing special.

Having a large stadium and giving away tickets seems to be the only thing they base their illusion on.

I have no idea who the sunderland fans think they'll get if Beale does leave. I'm not saying Beale is impressive but there is a ceiling to what level of manager will be interested in managing sunderland. It's not like they are missing out on the opportunity of signing Klopp by holding on to Beale.

Have you seen the list of sunderland managers over the last decade or so.

Their delusions of grandeur has no limits. Its like they see sunderland through a completely different lens to the rest of the football world. Where does their sense of entilement come from?

There were sunderland fans talking about the job being too big for him...... after he has managed rangers, a club far, far bigger than sunderland.
