Good to hear some honesty from Gibbo

Firstly, good to hear him! Secondly it is apparent he got the shock of his life at the prospect of relegation. Good! Looking forward it really does sound as Warnock will be calling the shots. Again, good.

whisper it quietly- with the right recruitment we could be in for a really interesting and exciting season.

Nest decision Gibbo has made in years appointing Warnock. Please back his judgement and decisions, Gibbo!

Personally I have no problem with him staying. He was thrown in at the deep end and failed miserably, not really surprising. If he has anything about him he will knuckle down and learn from Warnock. If he doesn't he'll be out on his ear, courtesy of NW.
We stitched another young manager up, throwing him in at the deep end and then pulling the rug from under him. He's done alright for himself.

Don’t understand the bit about stitching him up at all. He wasn’t exactly in demand. He’d have got a job nowhere else as manager. We gave him a chance, lowered the bar of expectation and he still failed spectacularly. I do feel for him as it wasn’t an easy task, but there was certainly no stitch up.

Well if he's happy with JW still been at the club who are we to argue against, personally I'm happy with that

I would like JW to stay with the Boro, he was given a very hard task & with been inexperienced too was even harder to achieve

He wasn't forced into it and really didn't need the money
Hopefully he'll have the strength to come back and build upon the last year.
There's nothing wrong with learning from past mistakes.
Admittedly it would take a person with a strong inner character do so.
Hopefully he has that strength.
I hope Leo stays too

Good to hear him acknowledge that he gave Woodgate a tough job, not that I have sympathy for Woodgate as he shouldn't have taken the job on in the first place, at least not without asking for an experienced coach to be hired who could support him.

Don’t mind him keeping Woodgate at the club, as long as he is nowhere near the first team he can work here for life.

Ridiculous Woodgate staying on in any capacity. How can you command respect from any footballer around the place when you failed so miserably?

Never known such a sentimental club or group of fans in my life. If you're 'one of our own' you've got a job for life seemingly.

Aren't you 'one of the fans'?
