Probably rose tinted glasses as a youngster going to AP in the 70's, big Hacks team should have won something, as should John Neals teams, both leaving great longlasting memories for me, then Bruce's miracles, well that period was just once in a lifetime
As you say, Steve made something happen which I thought i would never see & alongside my dad & younger brother with the 3 of us had been going more or less together since 1972 we seen it together & sadly are no longer with us
