Gold Season Card Holders

Gold Cards - no one will lose any gold card privileges if they do not feel safe and secure renewing this season. The same applies to loyalty points etc. So, at the end of next season - it will be re-set time and everyone that was a Gold Card holder last season will have the opportunity to renew again without any loss of privilege etc. There is no pressure on people to renew or lose their gold card status.
I have just been in phone conversation with MFC Supporters officer to find out the official line.
Those wanting to buy kids tickets will be refunded later for their renewal if the numbers of sales goes beyond the new reduced capacity.
Maybe I should make this a sticky thread until everyone has had an opportunity to read it.

Does this apply to all card holders Rob, or just gold card?
Thanks

Thanks Rob, but should the club not be coming out and saying this or indeed have said this at the start. Really disappointing from MFC.

Can you clarify the re-set bit?

What is being re-set and when you say 2021 I presume you mean at the start of the 21-22 season?

And as erimus86 said this should be coming out as an official statement from the club - really disappointing indeed but not unusual for the club.

Yes, I agree the club should have been in touch with everyone about this.
Yes I mean season 21-22. It is confusing with us having not started 20-21 yet.
So anyone that doesn't feel they can renew next season will be given another opportunity to renew next summer.

Am hoping the answer is no and that there will be no priority points issued next season. It should be a complete freeze I hope. No one should feel they have been pushed down any queue because it is not safe for them to renew. Surely.
At a guess, there won't be away supporters at games next season anyway, in which case it wouldn't be an issue.

Agree about freezing the priority points. Bit harsh on the fans who choose to shield and not renew.

I'm assuming this will also give MFC the excuse of removing the free drinks vouchers.

Can't really complain, we've had a free drink every home game for nearly 5 seasons now...if not more. Feels like forever.

Rob, as just a regular ST holder who hasn’t renewed yet, if I miss this coming season would I be able to use my credit from last season to hopefully purchase a 21/22 season card?

I don't know the answer about the credit against 21/22 season card.
Drinks vouchers - one question that the new supporters club have put to the club is what should we expect about the concourse next season? It is a good question isn't it. Will the concourses be closed or only partially opened etc. They will be governed by guidance they receive. Hard to see any free drinks. Perhaps it could be an opportunity to trial drinking inside the seats of a stadium - if no away fans and no concourse open. Just thinking out loud here.

Thanks Rob. It's a shame you have to go to the effort though. It's all obvious questions that they should anticipate and provide the appropriate details for to prevent people having to worry.

wish the club would allow any credit to be used in the shop, money is then staying with the club. some serious belt tightening will be getting planned by clubs so it keeps the money with the club..
new financial situation i think means those players who gamble on greener grass elsewhere may find its no so green

I don't know anything about the chairman's drink, I didn't ask. I don't think anyone can know for sure when the concourses will be back to normal.

Why would there be any belief they wouldn't be serving food or drink? Pubs are open, fast food restaurants are open etc. There's no reason I can see why they wouldn't be able to serve food and drink.

We haven't heard yet how the concourses will work. Some fans are fearful of the concourses and having to cross through them to get to their seats.
