depends on the finances and wages - Loris Karius on a free from Liverpool could fit the bill - Caoimhín Kelleher on a loan would be a real statement, if we could wrestle him from Liverpool for a season.

i would take the newcastle goalie - Martin Dúbravka - he is the best goalie up the road, but eddie howe looks to replace him.

Pierluigi Gollini - at Spurs would be good enough for us and this league - perhaps we could do something with them around the Djed transfer deal - they have just taken fraser forster from saints.

Have you ever seen Gollini play? He’s awful and soft as sh1t, he’d get mullered every corner and set piece in the championship, crying for a foul that won’t come.
 
Heaton for me, he has the experience and is a solid keeper. Henderson would have been my first choice but seems like it won’t happen
 
I suppose you could be talking £1m between Heaton and Henderson maybe as a championship club we just don’t need that extra expense and still achieve our goals without it

£20 million is a good price considering an untried keeper is meant to be going for £17 million.

Hopefully we can sign him off them when they're relegated and we're promoted as champions by Easter....

Never seem to have found a great deal of success with the stop gaps, or "No 2s"(Lumley pun.....?) apart from Dimi.
Personally prefer a long term keeper so wouldn't be against paying a few quid for one. Iverson would be a decent signing👍
 
Whoever stays won't 'Challange' Pope. They are going to be No2 or even 3

Although they have just moved on Woodman. I guess it's a case of it you wonna be a No2 or 3 in the prem or play 30-40 games in the champo. Many keepers can go a whole career without ever really being No1 and happy with that.

I don't think Iverson is an option unless it's a loan. I read they want 5mil+ on a perm and don't want to loan him out again.

Still plenty of options. I'd still like Heaton. It's easy to forget just how good he was at Burnley and on loan at Villa. A tremendous shot stopper.
