Comet? She's barely in it isn't she? I'd be surprised if she's back 2nd series.

Is it just me or is the standard of the competitors nowhere near as good as the original? Or could this because I was a kid back then whereas now as a fit adult I think I could beat them?! 😂😂
 
Comet had a big injury early on.
Sabre definitely my favourite I think!

It's been a bit ridiculous the mens' competition, you'd be better off gettting knocked out 1st round and waiting for someone to get injured.
 
Really enjoyed the series.

The arena is obviously smaller than the NEC (and the budget was probably smaller) which has effected some of the events I think. Gauntlet and the wall are a fair bit smaller than the previous series. So 90% of contenders make it on those.

I actually think the new events (the edge, the ring and the bridge one) are some of the best.

I'm really hopeful season 2 will be really good.
 
They should get rid of Viper for next series.

I know they have tried to recreate the Wolf character but the problem with Viper is that he's just not very good, so it doesn't work.

Yeah I'd agree with this. He's poor, brings nothing to it at all.

I've really enjoyed the series, and the kids have loved it.
 
Yeah though I have heard that Viper is popular with the (younger) kids. Legend is playing the bad guy role better anyway.

Gauntlet is pathetically easy, they need to lengthen / narrow it somehow.

Yeah I think they've tried to make him appear mysterious by making him non-verbal but instead it just makes him appear to be angry for no reason. Doesn't work for me.
