The trailer for Gladiator 2 just came out, it's getting absolutely battered in the comments, it looks alright to me, but I'll reserve judgement till I've seen the film

First Gladiator was absolutely phenomenal and in my top 5 movies of all time so obviously somewhat anxious on how this one goes. Gonna take some doing to equal the first one or even come close to it. I like Pedro Pascal especially as an actor, but not sure about the rest of the casting.

Watched the trailer also and thought meh. Sure will still see it in theatres mind haha.

Not impressed much with the trailer at all. Why not just make a new film and not besmirch the brilliant original.
Probably watch it - not expecting it to rise anywhere close to its predecessor.

Gladiator has been on my to watch list for about 20 years along with Forrest Gump.
I notice the later is back on the cinema soon, I might drop in.

Yeh, Denzil definately doesnt suite this kind of movie with his accent and acting ability

Hes not a classical actor, tends to play a tough down on luck ex cop or cia agent in every film hes ever been in

There’s a bit where he laughs in the trailer and it takes you back to those types of roles

A sequel that was not needed…
But then I thought that about Top Gun and Maverick, which I’ve now watched 4 times and it’s grown on me. (Just wish they’d not dressed rooster in goose’s ‘tach)
