Gigs you’ve heard…

I listened to the guy who lives next door belting out a few bars of a few Chris de Burgh songs in his bathroom once a couple of summers ago while sat in the sun in the back garden having a beer. Very funny!

Listened to the Clash gig at the Rock Garden in 1977 through the side as I knew I'd have no chance getting past the bouncers for this gig compared to the times I'd sneaked in beforehand for lesser known bands. I was a very young looking 15 year old.

Similar to you Cog, heard many a band from the side of the Rock Garden as I used to go with the Blue Hall crew (mainly with Muttley Burns - RIP Muttley) and while they'd let this old-looking 12 or 13 year old in for many gigs, the bigger ones they'd sometimes refuse me (despite the same bouncer letting me in the previous, and often, next week).
I saw the Clash, but at the Town Hall, in I think 1978?
Oh, and edited as I also heard a lot of bands from the back of the Fiesta, in Norton, in the mid-late 70s before they'd let me in the front door.

Duran Duran played in a venue in Scarborough 1980/81ish. It was next door to our B&B so we heard the full concert.
In Rome our hotel was next to the theatre and we heard the rehearsals for the opera, if that counts.
