Surely, if a vote of no confidence was called, there would be enough decent Tories to bite the bullet and vote for a GE? Doing the right thing may even save 1 or 2 of them their seats.

Hi have you ever seen turkeys vote 4 Xmas? Markets run the country not blue or red at the moment they have no confidence in truss they may have in the new chancellor we will find out Monday certainly by the end of the months fiscal statement by then truss will be either gone or the new chancellor will have saved her bacon. Will the markets have confidence in labour historically no chance so even more madness there

Why wouldn't the markets have confidence in Labour?
 
We can’t have a GE because our non existent constitution allows the government to do, or not do, exactly what they want. But we allow it to happen. Will of the people, init.
