I bet the Northumberland bowlers were trying not to catch the skippers eye...

slightly odd, having played what was essentially a warm up, he didn't then play in the one day cup game vs Northants. Maybe saving him for the Lancy game?

And at some point during this innings in a friendly he got covid, so is ruled out of Royal London cup games this week😞
