Fury v Whyte tickets

and there's more official tickets going on sale tomorrow as they've extended the capacity to 94000!

4 together for sale at £338ish each on ticketmaster in that block. But they are resale tickets. No idea what the original price was but if thats the resale one you'd think the original was a fair bit lower.

Edit:

Although looking at block 127 they have two tickets from platinum range which are apparently demand based pricing and they are £440 each. So maybe he did pay that!

Think they were around £280 face value in those blocks, about £69 for cheapest but going up to and over £1500 for the best seats...bonkers.

I was keen to buy tickets when they originally went on sale but there is no chance now. as I was sat in the queue thousands of tickets were on resale sites for inflated prices.

It should be illegal to resell tickets - they should go back to the original seller who then sells them again at the same face value.

4000 on sale today at midday

I agree, how difficult would it be to create a waiting list of people when demand outstrips supply, could be offered returned tickets at face value.

However that would massively dent the profits of the ticketing agencies who now run their own secondary ticketing markets - effectively getting paid twice when someone resells due to the fees etc.

It's an absolute scandal and should be stopped.

John Oliver did a great piece on this a couple of weeks ago, worth seeking out.

It's weird how it is actually allowed.

There is no way that thousands of tickets should be on reselling sites within minutes.

The Government get 2 cuts of the profits though so aren't bothered.

Similar laws to the reselling of football tickets need to be applied to all live music and sports events with a capacity of over 500 for example.

Same happens with everything unfortunately, it's not just tickets.
I collect whisky, and there's annual releases on certain dates every year... Within minutes they're sold out and appearing on auction sites for 3x/4x the price.
