Not for me guv. At least so far. After today Astra Zeneca is dead across Europe as merkel has pretty much killed it. As no one will trust it now.
What I have seen over the last 2 days it will be well before that. This Countries future leaders right there throwing parties and shoite all over the place. That'll be us in about 10-16 weeks

Imagine if they hadn't been repeatedly and consistently slandering an effective vaccine.
Macron is an idiot of the highest order.
I agree that Macron has not handled the epidemic well, but then I am no fan of his. What he did or didn't say about the Astra-Zeneca vaccine has had only a small impact on the situation France finds itself in - the vaccine is widely available in France. The major reasons are the number of vaccines available, or lack of (the reasons have been well documented) which coincided with the spread of the UK variant several weeks after the spikes in the UK. I would also add Macron's unwillingness to close schools and lock down earlier.
Didn't heed the warnings of a nearby country, unwillingness to close schools and a reluctance to lockdown, which leads to an increase in transmission.I agree that Macron has not handled the epidemic well, but then I am no fan of his. Who wins the next presidential election?A lot of people are refusing the Astra-Zeneca vaccine, what percentage I've no idea, but it's also true that France as a country has always been low on vaccine uptake. I'm not certain why but I've heard it said that it's because they have a basic mistrust of government.
Anecdotal again, but I've been on the government sites looking for a vaccination slot and there are none available in the area, and I'm 70. In his address tonight Macron said that 60-70 year-olds could now get vaccinated in April, so maybe that's why i couldn't get a slot before. You have to remember that just over 10% of the population (when I looked a week or so ago) had received their first vaccination.
EDIT Pak_Doo_Ik - Macron doesn't listen to anyone, even the citizen's forums that he set up. Hence his very low approval ratings.
Well him and Merkel need to start listening to the bl00dy science as all they are doing at the moment is making Boris and his cronies look good.A lot of people are refusing the Astra-Zeneca vaccine, what percentage I've no idea, but it's also true that France as a country has always been low on vaccine uptake.
