Shame that as I was looking forward to seeing all the presenters take a big needle to the bubble of the Big Lie.
Guess that keeping the base in the dark and continuing to spread misinformation was worth stumping up for.

Erm ah right.

The US should insist that trump has to publicly acknowledge the previous election result prior to standing.
 
Hopefully this will encourage other companies/individuals to sue the likes of GB News, the Mail, Express etc when they print their misinformation and poison, and maybe the whole fake news/misinformation agenda can be pegged back a bit.
Probably wishful thinking, but surely not all these ‘news’ outlets can afford to start dishing out 100s of millions in settlements.
 
The people who own Dominion are a group of financial companies, hedge funds and the like.
Someone wrote an article in the US press saying he thought they just go for the money in the end.
 
Fox News don’t appear to be aware it’s not mentioned on their website.

I doubt Tucker and co will mention it in their monologues of lies. No doubt in a few weeks time if it is mentioned it will be the radical left’s fault that they have been forced to pay.

Those that watch Fox largely don’t really care.
 
Not just Fox viewers - although I'd hazard a guess the USA Mad Nad tunes in religiously every night.......🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

They were seeking 1.6 billion initially so they have settled on half. Fox also have another law suit pending from Smartmatic another electronic voting company.

The defence of repeating lies from somebody else (in this case Trump) does not hold true and clearly will hav ramifications for future news output.

I hope given the way libel works that they continue to prosecute any repeat of these claims as well.
 
I wonder if their share value has gone up?

It looks like they could make huge amounts of money this year.
 
Reading around this from US commentators. It would appear that the Smartmatic case will cause Fox a lot more problems than Dominion’s. Also their claim is for over $2 Billion.
