Forss/Ramsey injury news?

Not sure about Forss, but someone posted on here a few days ago that Ramsey will be OK for the playoffs.
 
I thought someone off here talked to forss after last home game in the car park and he said he was going to be fine
 
To be fair to Jones, the majority of the boro team today where not at the races, the previous couple of games he has really made an impression. He will be a real gem coming off the bench in the play offs

Agree about him coming off the bench and making an impact but as a starter, no thanks

If he is missing that is a real blow, he is far better than McGree.

If he’s back at villa it doesn’t look good but it might be that he needs assessing by their medical team before we can push him to play or assess his recovery given he isn’t our player.
It’s either villa wanting control of his recovery or that he’s finished for the season and boro are trying to manage the communication coming out of the club…
If he ain’t coming back it’s a loss for us but certainly not as big a loss as losing archer, chuba, Hackney or lenihan I’d say. The lad is a good player but we have plenty more talent IF forss returns and Mcgree stays fit

You are massively under-estimating his potential impact in big games. He has real class and is far more creative than anything else we have wide, much more so than McGree.

My thoughts too. He was wearing a protective boot a few days after the Norwich game, and now he’s back at villa. Sounds like a recurrence of his ankle injury from earlier in the season.

Fry I suspect is out for the season too, if it’s right that his issues are to do with the Braithwaite face kick from 2 years ago, then it sounds like some kind of issue with his cheek or orbital bone not healing. That would likely take 6 months of no heading the ball and/or an operation to get a final resolution. He has worn a mask a lot this season, so sounds like this could be a serious one.

Forss looked like a muscle problem when he went off but he walked off so not a full tear, 3-4 weeks usually, should be fit for the second leg if not the first.

If we can avoid anymore injuries then we’re looking at :

Steffen
Smith McNair Lenihan Giles
Howson Hackney
Forss Akpom McGree
Archer

As our starting XI with subs from

Roberts, Dijksteel, Bola, Barlaser, Mowatt, Jones, Crooks, Muniz
 
I doubt any loan player with a knock wouldn’t get checked by the parent clubs medical team. I think there’s enough time for a lot of injuries to heal and we’re righty keeping our cards as close as possible. Howson for me is the real key, we’re just better with him in the side than not.
