Forss is he a nailed on starter when fit?

No, I’d say Doak and Jones have the right hand side covered between them, Doak to help win a game and Jones to close a game out. Maybe as a centre forward Forss might get a run.
I'd like to see Forss brought on upfront at times.

Sounds like Carrick think it's will be a while before he's on the pitch going off his comments mind.

Really like Carrick and agree with much of what he says and does. But giving an unfit player a turn on the bench is baffling to me. If nothing else it reduces potentially game critical replacement options.

Yeah I do wonder if it would continue when he had a fully fit squad.

Would he leave someone like Fry off the bench just so Forss could get “in and around the group”? Doubt it.

Option of the right side when we need a goal. Doak starts and jones is the option when we need to protect a lead or we are defending and need an outlet

I mentioned last night that there are a lot of players returning from injury that will give Carrick a selection headache. What a great place we are in, I just hope we can keep them all happy.

It’s good we now have the luxury of not having to rush players back after injury.

We did that too often last season.

If we didn’t have Doak, and Jones wasn’t quite firing, we would probably be rushing Forss back at the weekend and crocking him for another 2 months

You would fully expect doak to end up the best player of the three on the right. However, he is likely to blow hot and cold in his first season of men's football.

I don't think he will be a starter for all games where he is fit. Hope he shines and proves me wrong.
I don't think it would be fair to start him week in and week out, there will be games we will need to rest him and allow him to recover. The last thing we need is for him to burn himself out.
