Even if I did arrive there’s no chance my luggage would . They couldn’t even get my luggage from Leeds to Dublin so no chance over 140 million miles !

Its pretty amazing how far they have come. The reality is that if they thought it was safe they'd be firing people around.

These are still fairly new systems they are trialling and I would expect more fireballs/ incidents.

The data they are gathering from each launch and test will significantly shape the next I am sure- so they will never claim a failure, it's vital data and learning.

I imagine in an any press is good press situation this will get lots of media attention and we are talking about it now showing that.

A quick thought. Would they insure for something like this, or just absorb the cost as part of R&D?

It would be a planet somewhere near to Mars with a long transit shuttle ride to actually get there!

I have never used ryanair but I did once fly to amsterdam on easy jet. It was an early morning flight and I thought I would have a nap. I lay down over 2 seats and was told to sit up as I hadn't paid for the extra seat. There was about 20 of us on the flight.

Remind me never to fly with them. When my son went to Australia to play football, he went with Air New Zealand and the flight attendant gave him 4 across the middle to himself so he could sleep.....
