We’re eating out this year too. It’s too much for the missus atm, so just taking the easy route.
Her mums dementia may make tomorrow interesting- you never know what’s coming next.

Everyone’s circumstances are different. Be kind to others, but most especially yourself.

I cooked Xmas lunch for five a few years ago. It was horribly stressful for someone like me only used to cooking for myself - I usually batch cook

Costing me a bloody fortune to eat out tomorrow but so what.

Anyway all the best mate dementia is one horrible affliction I wouldn’t wish on anyone

I stole it from him, but with his blessing having met him once when he was quite buoyant out in London Town near Christmas around 1992 and I mentioned it was quite lovely and I would use it. "I'll speak to my lawyer" he said with a twinkle eyed wink. Loved Spike

I thought the Boro way was to say “oh heck I don’t like the look of this” the minute the opposition crossed into the other half of the pitch.

But I’m happily proved wrong
