Morning Alan….I've been twice and both times it has been closed with no signs of life. One of those times was yesterday morning (ie the same time that we went the week before) so I’m wondering if it has gone the same way as the coffee shop before it? I was going to give it one more go this week…..what do you think?

It would be good to try somewhere new and sad if it’s gone the same way as those before it. Give it one more try and if no response, we can always fall back on the Connexions Cafe.

The 5th will be the Armed Forces breakfast club in Connections, best we book a table.
 
FMTTM Coffee Club: Saturday 5th April 2025; 10.30 am
Mr Cooper’s Coffee Shop, Bedford Street.​

After a couple of fruitless visits, I managed to catch them open this morning to book tables for about 10 folk for this Saturday. The lady in charge is super excited about us going (and let’s be honest she has every reason to be) and was really pleased that we decided to use them again after our one off post-record fair meeting there.

She has taken my number to let me know if there is any reason for them to be closed on Saturday (as they were this Saturday just gone) so maybe log on this Saturday morning to check there is no last minute change.

No need for exact numbers either as she is confident she can fit folk in. I’m planning to be there by 10.15am anyway.

PS the coffee shop is next to O’Connell’s but before the barber’s. Don’t do what Newy did and go into the barber’s, expecting an Americano…..

He could do with a haircut though, he is letting us baldies down.
